Fees
Mother Goose Pre-School is a registered charity and therefore all income received from either fees or funding is retained to cover rent and staff wages, replace equipment and update resources. You will be invoiced in advance at the beginning of each month for the number of sessions booked for that month.
Our current fee rate is £8.00 per hour.
We have a voluntary Sustainability Charge of 50p per day for snack and 50p per day for non-food consumables (total charge £1 per day).
We recognise that from time-to-time, your child may need to attend an additional session. We will be happy to arrange this providing we have space, and we request that payment is made on the day for these extra sessions.
Invoices are issued via the Famly app (see more here), and payments can be made by bank transfer (preferred) or cheque. We regret that we are unable to accept cash payments.
Funding options
The UK government runs schemes to help parents pay for childcare for 2, 3, and 4 year olds. You can find out what you are eligible to receive using the Childcare Checker.
30 hours childcare for working families
If you live and work in England you may be entitled to 30 hours funded childcare support from the term after your child turns 9 months old, until they start school.
15 hours childcare for all families
All 3 and 4 year olds who live in England are entitled to this offer irrespective of income levels, benefit status, or family circumstances.
Tax-Free Childcare
Eligible working parents are entitled to a £2 top-up for every £8 that you pay towards childcare.
Early Learning for 2 year olds
15 hours of early learning for 2 year olds each week (over 38 weeks of the year) for families in England who get extra support, like those on Universal Credit or children with an Education, Health, and Care Plan.
